Rs.5,000/-
to Rs.20,000/-,(depending upon the applicant's work place
and decision of the selection committee) for postgraduates
and specialists within 7 years of post-graduation from India
and neighboring countries. Applicants would be required to
send a covering letter expressing their interest, CV and a
recommendation letter from a senior faculty member to authenticate
the application. All applicants must be registered at the
time of application. The deadline to receive applications
is 15 October 2008. Modest standard accommodation is available
at a concessional rate. Successful applicants would be required
to attend the meetings of the BJD World network (30 Nov &
01 Dec 08) also.
Preference would be given to applicants specializing/working
in subjects related to the Bone and Joint disorders, and the
same should be mentioned in the recommendation letter. The
decision of the chair, convention scientific committee, on
the selection of successful applicants will be final and binding.
The travel bursary will be paid to the successful applicants
on 01 Dec 08, subject to their notable participation. (Not
applicable to IRACON registrants). Candidates would have to
submit photocopies of their travel documents.
